Event-specific refund rules
Events on Vibook may have their own refund and cancellation terms set by the event organizer.
For paid events, the applicable refund terms should be communicated to attendees before they complete their purchase.
By completing a ticket purchase, the attendee agrees to the refund and cancellation terms shown for that event, subject to applicable laws and regulations.
Event cancelled by the organizer
If an event is cancelled by the organizer, attendees who purchased eligible tickets through Vibook may be entitled to a refund of the amount paid for the ticket.
Where supported, approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method.
The time required for a refund to appear may depend on the payment provider and the customer’s bank.
Event rescheduled
If an event is rescheduled, the organizer may:
- Keep existing tickets valid for the new date.
- Offer attendees the option to request a refund.
- Provide alternative arrangements permitted by the event’s stated policy.
Affected attendees should be informed of the available options.
Attendee cancellation
If an attendee can no longer attend an event, refund eligibility depends on the refund policy provided for that event.
An organizer may choose policies such as:
- Refundable until a specific date.
- Refundable until a certain number of days before the event.
- Non-refundable where permitted by applicable law.
- A custom refund policy.
Duplicate or incorrect charges
If an attendee believes they were charged incorrectly or more than once, they should contact Vibook Support.
The attendee should provide:
- Full name.
- Event name.
- Ticket or order reference.
- A description of the issue.
Do not send full card numbers or sensitive payment credentials by email.
Refund processing
Approved refunds should be processed using the original payment method where technically supported.
Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, card network, and issuing bank.
Organizer responsibilities
Vibook provides technology for event creation, registration, ticketing, attendee management, and check-in.
Event organizers remain responsible for matters relating to their events, including:
- Event scheduling.
- Venue.
- Event content.
- Organizer-specific terms.
- Cancellation decisions.
- Refund eligibility rules communicated for the event.
Vibook may assist organizers and attendees with eligible refund requests related to transactions processed through the Vibook platform.
Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any rights that customers may have under applicable laws and regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
If there is a conflict between an event policy and mandatory applicable law, the applicable law takes precedence.
